Our menus are produce-driven, focused on seasonality and provenance. Cooked over charcoal, produced from a local Kentish woodland.

Set in the village of Bridge, just outside Canterbury and surrounded by rolling hills and walking trails, The Bridge Arms is a welcoming spot for locals and visitors alike. Whether you’re here for a drink at the bar, a relaxed meal, or just passing through after a walk, there’s always a place for you.

In the kitchen, Head Chef David Gadd and I, Elliot Hewitt, focus on fresh, seasonal food that reflects the best of Kent. With over 25 years of experience in hospitality, my family and I are proud to work closely with local producers and suppliers to create a menu that changes with the seasons—offering thoughtful, unfussy dishes that let the ingredients speak for themselves.

The perfect setting all year round. When the sun is shining, relax and spend time in the beautiful garden space, complete with outdoor bar and a climbing frame to keep the whole family entertained. When the weather turns, take a seat inside and warm up by the roaring open fires.

The Bridge Arms is a pub shaped by its surroundings—part of the village, connected to the land, and here for all the moments that bring people together. Whether you’re dropping in for a drink, planning something special, or celebrating a milestone occasion, we’re here to help make it memorable. My family and I look forward to welcoming you soon.

We have dog friendly areas available to guests, we ask that you make a note in your booking to alert the team you will be bringing a dog so they can assign you an appropriate table.
